Holsey Custom Clothes was founded by Mike Holsey in Houston, Texas in 1972. Holsey is a recognized authority in custom clothing, noted for his skill in the innovative area of "professional image management" as well as his award-winning talent in custom fitted clothing. With over 30 years experience, Mike Holsey is a past president and still resides on the board of the Custom Tailors and Designers Association of America, America's oldest trade organization. He also co-authored the book "The Success Image."

Jackson Medal Award Winner The Jackson Medal was designed and presented to S. S. Jackson at the 18th Annual Convention in 1898. The inscription reads "For the Best Cut and Most Stylish Garment Shown." Today it is awarded to each outgoing National President and is considered the Academy Award of the custom tailoring industry.
